The tide has turned in Trump’s favour. New York public have come out in droves to witness history in the making.
Candidates need at least 270 electoral votes to win. Electoral votes are allocated through a winner-take-all system in 48 states and DC. Currently Clinton (DEM) has 215 and Trump (REP) 259 and he needs a mere 11 to win the battle for the White House.
Trump has won the key battleground states of Florida, Ohio and North Carolina.
Tonight, in NYC, the locals are fixed to the big screens all over the city.
