All of the 11 S&P sectors rose with energy up 4.3% and industrials up 2.2%. Investors await testimony from the Federal Reserve chair on Tuesday. The Dow Jones index lifted 587 points or 1.8%. The S&P 500 index gained 1.4% and the Nasdaq index rose by 111 points or 0.8%.
