Linius Technologies (ASX:LNU) has announced the appointment of Ben Taverner as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 February 2025.

Mr Taverner brings over 20 years of experience in the sports and entertainment industries, having held key roles at organisations such as IMG, Juventus Football Club, and KORE (now part of Two Circles). He has led major sports marketing projects, including UEFA Euro 2008, the new Juventus Stadium, and Wembley Stadium. Outgoing CEO James Brennan will step down from the board but remain in the company to assist during the transition. CFO and Company Secretary Joe Rinarelli has temporarily joined the board, with plans to appoint an Australian-based non-executive director later this year.

Linius Technologies, based in Melbourne, is known for its patented Video Virtualisation Engine, which allows users to create personalised video compilations by extracting and curating moments from large video libraries. The company aims to transform video consumption with AI-enhanced search and monetisation capabilities.
