Intra Energy Corporation Limited

Intra Energy is an environmentally responsible, diversified mining and energy group and is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX:IEC). IEC has two operating subsidiary companies, Tancoal Energy Limited (Tancoal) and Intrafrican Resources Limited (IRL).

IEC is a developer and producer of thermal coal in Eastern Africa operating under the motto of “African coal for African growth”. IEC operates the largest producing thermal coal mine in Eastern Africa through Tancoal in the Ngaka coalfield in Tanzania, a joint venture with the National Development Corporation of Tanzania.

IEC through its wholly-owned subsidiary IRL, based in Mauritius, is assisting the development of the Minas du Lurio gold concession in Mozambique as a priority in recognition of golds potential stability in the present and future volatile monetary environment.
