Minbos Resources Limited

MINBOS RESOURCES LIMITED (ASX:MNB) is an ASX-listed exploration and development company with a world-class phosphate ore project within the Cabinda Province of Angola.

CABINDA PHOSPHATE PROJECT – ANGOLA – With fertilizer consumption on the African continent projected to reach 13.6 million tonnes by 2030 (7.6 million tonnes currently), the Company’s immediate focus is on bringing the Cabinda Phosphate Project into production, a de-risked project uniquely positioned to address the exponential agricultural growth in Middle Africa.

The Company has previously released a phosphate resource estimate of 13Mt @ 26% P2O5, including an estimated 7Mt @ 30% P2O5.

In March 2020,  The Angolan Ministry of Mineral Resources and Petroleum advised the Company that its tender submission for the Cácata Phosphate Concession (Cabinda Project), located in the Province of Cabinda, has been classified as 1st (or Successful).

The Company expects to mine Phosphate Rock from the Cácata Deposit and transport it to the Porto de Caio where all the necessary electricity, gas , water and shipping infrastructure exists to build and operate a granulation plant to produce Enhanced Phosphate Rock granules (Phosphate Rock + MAP).

The Enhanced Phosphate Rock granules will become the P nutrient feedstock to blend with imported Nitrogen (N) and Potassium (K) granules in NPK blending plants to exact specifications suited to Angolan crops and soils.

A Definitive Feasibility Study is now underway to produce a JORC 2012 Ore Reserve Estimate, including mine schedule, mine infrastructure design and cost modeling to produce a new mine model for the ore reserve report. The report is expected to be completed in August 2020.
